Privacy Policy

We may need to change this policy from time to time to address new issues and reflect changes on our sites. We will post those changes here, so you will always know what information we gather, how we might use it and whether we will disclose it to anyone. Please refer back to this policy regularly.

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to your use of websites owned or operated by Strategenic, Inc. d/b/a Sterling Talon and its affiliated companies (collectively "we," "us" or "our"), including sterlingtalon.com and our social media pages (collectively, the "Sites"). It does not apply to unaffiliated sites that our Sites link to, and it covers only information collected on the Sites, not information collected offline.

Information you provide

We collect personal identification information only when you choose to give it to us. For example, when you request a Growth Plan, we ask for your name, email address, organization, website, the outcome that matters most to you and, optionally, your annual revenue range. You may also give us information when you email or call us, register for an event or webinar, or otherwise ask us for information.

Except as described in this policy, or as permitted or required by law, we will not intentionally disclose personal identification information about you to any third party without your permission. We do not sell your personal information.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect non-personal identification information using technologies such as:

• Cookies: small pieces of data a website sends to your browser, which may store them on your device.
• IP address logging: an IP address is a number assigned to your device on the internet. When you request pages from our Sites, our hosting provider logs your IP address.
• Web beacons: small graphics ("clear gifs") on a page or email that tell a site how its content is used.

This information may include your browser, device and operating system, your internet service provider, the pages you visit, the search terms you use on our Sites, and the links you select. We use it to administer the Sites, measure and improve our advertising, and understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Sites so we can keep improving them.

How we use information

• To respond to your requests, including preparing and scheduling your Growth Plan
• To provide, operate and improve our Sites and services
• To send you information you have asked for or opted in to receive
• To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and content
• To protect the security of our Sites and comply with legal obligations

Service providers and sharing

We use trusted service providers to operate the Sites and our business, and they process information on our behalf:

• Netlify hosts the Sites and receives form submissions.
• Zapier passes form submissions to our email and customer relationship management systems.
• Google provides Tag Manager, analytics and advertising services (see below).
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) provides advertising and ad measurement services (see below).
• Vimeo hosts our client testimonial videos. A video player loads only when you press play, and Vimeo's own privacy policy then applies.

We may share aggregate statistical information, which does not identify you, with partners, suppliers and other third parties. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Analytics and advertising

Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to manage the analytics and advertising tags on our Sites. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information, but it loads the tools described below, which may set cookies and collect information.

Google Analytics. sterlingtalon.com uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior in an anonymous form, including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, platform type, date and time stamp, and number of clicks. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the site and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. It is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Google Ads. We may use Google Ads remarketing to show ads on third-party websites, including Google Search and the Google Display Network, to people who have previously visited our site, and conversion tracking to measure whether our ads lead to inquiries. For example, we might show an ad to a visitor who did not complete our contact form.

Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, to show ads to people who have visited our site, and to reach people similar to them. The Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, actions you take (for example, submitting our Growth Plan form), your IP address and browser information. Meta may link this information to your Meta account and use it in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

Third-party vendors, including Google and Meta, use cookies to serve ads based on past visits to sterlingtalon.com. Any data collected is used in accordance with this policy and the vendors' own privacy policies.

You can control how these services use your information:

• Set your preferences in Google Ads Settings.
• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Manage your ad preferences with Meta in Accounts Center, including the use of information from other websites.
• Opt out of interest-based ads from many advertising providers at aboutads.info.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Links to other sites

Our Sites contain links to websites of clients, partners, suppliers and other third parties. We do not control those sites, which may have their own privacy policies or none at all. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site before giving it your personal information.

Security

Protecting your information is a top priority, and we take reasonable measures to secure it, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission between your browser and our Sites. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that our measures will prevent all unauthorized access, and by using the Sites you assume this risk.

Your choices

If you opt in to receive information from us, you can change your mind at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or emailing hello@sterlingtalon.com. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request, but it is not always possible to remove information completely from our records or backups, or from the records of third parties who received it in accordance with this policy.

Children's privacy

Our Sites are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International visitors

The Sites are operated in the United States. If you are located in the European Union or elsewhere outside the United States, any information you provide will be transferred to the United States. By using the Sites or giving us your information, you consent to this transfer.

Your acceptance of this policy

By using the Sites, you accept this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these policies, please do not use the Sites. Your continued use of the Sites after changes are posted means you accept those changes.
